Over the last couple of years it has become clear that there is a real need for a range of local therapeutic services. And indeed different types of support or healing.
With this in mind Hinckley Counselling is so pleased to be able to offer people an excellent choice of specialist help and different independent practitioners to work with.
On this page you will be introduced to:
Marina Broadley, practice owner, and the team of independent associates counsellors / therapists: Jane Mayne, Bally Bhathal, Kelly Rippin and Ryan Vigor-Justin - all highly experienced professionals in their own field.
Whilst we all work with clients privately at Hinckley Counselling we are separate and independent from each other, each with our own professional body, insurances and so on.

Here is what Marina Broadley has to say:
Hello, I'm Marina Broadley, the practice owner. I provide confidential counselling and therapy for women who are experiencing personal, emotional, physical and relationship difficulties in their lives.
Alongside counselling I teach mindfulness for beginners. I trained to teach mindfulness for one reason: the whole thing personally resonated very deeply. I'm passionate about it. My classes are an invitation for you to experience how different your life can be.
My first private counselling practice was formed about a 14 years ago. I have many years experience working as a professionally qualified psychodynamic counsellor and I've worked with literally thousands of private clients who have either come directly or been recommended.
Please note that the kind of counselling I provide is not the same as the kind offered at most doctor's surgeries. The kind of professional training I embarked upon took several years to complete. This was not a superficial, quick fix, 'counselling skills course'. It was much much more. A deeply complex psychological understanding of human beings, how we develop, who we become, how we cope, how we heal: attachments, loss, pain, recovery.
I mention this because as in many professions, there are different levels of training. Does this matter to you? Maybe, maybe not. What will always matter however, is the type of person the counsellor is - the type of personality, the humanity, the humility, the sensitivity, the capacity to understand you in a way that you've possibly never experienced. This is crucial.
There are many ways in which we can improve our lives, essentially our states-of-being in the world. Finding the right counsellor is one way. Mindfulness is another.

Here is what Kelly Rippin has to say:
Hello I'm Kelly,
My interest in counselling began with my own personal issues and experience of therapy.
My aim is to offer a service based on what I feel is important to getting the most out of counselling - a trusting relationship, compassion and valuing you as an individual. I am passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals.
I am experienced in treating a wide range of issues. My approach is Person Centred and I utilise other therapies such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy to help you find strategies that are appropriate and workable for you and your life.
Think about these questions:
· Do you want to improve your quality of life?
· How would your life be different if you felt better?
· What is the most important thing to you right now?
I offer empathic and solution focused therapy to help you sort out confused feelings, cope better or attempt a different approach.
I also have specialist training to work with issues of eating distress and body image. So if you are experiencing emotional or compulsive eating, chronic dieting or restrictive eating, binge eating or bulimia, I can help you restore a healthy, enjoyable relationship with food and with yourself. I apply a variety of practical interventions such as nutritional guidance alongside therapeutic counselling, following guidance from The National Centre for Eating Disorders.
You can text, email or call me and your initial 30 minute telephone consultation is free of charge, so we can discuss your situation and how we may work together before you commit to ongoing sessions. I work with adults and young people.

Here's what Jane Mayne has to say:
"Hello, I am Jane from Quantum Vision. I offer a wonderful energy therapy using the natural quantum light energy that's surrounds us and is based in science. We work on raising the vibration of the physical and energetic body. I use this therapy for all types of problems, from grief, feeling stuck, to that pain that just won't go away, or the illness that's making your life difficult . This therapy will change your life in so many ways.
A little about me: After studying all things metaphysical and self-improvement for over 20 years , I knew I could help people to heal. Five years ago I began to study our Quantum world and was lead to Quantum Touch Therapy and suddenly it all made perfect sense!
Since then I've treated clients for M.S, M.E, chronic pain, grief and just being plain stuck - all with such incredible results that it never ceases to amaze me! I then studied Quantum Entrainment and a whole host of complimenting exercises, which enabled me to form the Quantum 6 program, and the Quantum 4 advanced program. The results with clients speak for themselves.
Contact me for an initial chat. I look forward helping you achieve your best life ever."
